Dr. Kumiko Goto-Azuma

Dr. Kumiko Goto-Azuma has been studying paleo-climate and environment using ice cores from the Arctic and Antarctica through international collaboration with Norway, Canada, America, Danark, China and other nations. She has carried out fieldwork in Svalbard, Canadian Arctic, Yukon, China and Antarctica. She has served as a vice president of International Glaciological Society and International Association of Cryospehric Sciences.
